Shooting in New Orleans injures 11 people

New Orleans police are on the hunt for a gunman after 11 people were shot early Sunday morning in the city’s famed French Quarter.

According to NBC News, two of the people are in critical condition, though there is no word of any fatalities.

No arrests have been made and police are unsure if there was any motive.

The shooting took place near Canal Street, which is lined with hotels.

Police said the investigation was ongoing.
