10 Philadelphia Police recruits have resigned from the academy after the department caught wind of a cheating scandal.

According to CBS Philadelphia, the cadets were going to cheat on a motor vehicle exam after they had obtained the answers to the test; a test that was going to be open-book.

Another cadet in the platoon spotted what was happening and ratted out the cheats.

All 10 cadets immediately resigned after they were confronted by their superiors.

All 10 of those recruits cannot be employed by any law enforcement agency in the state of Pennsylvania because of their resignation.

The academy is now looking into how the recruits got ahold of the answers.
